Extending the piece
The client, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Sacramento, spotted this river sculpture on display at Capitol Public Radio. The sculptured measured 11′ in length, but the client’s foyer wall was larger. Solution? Design an extension to the river by fusing an additional panel of glass on one end. The finished size balanced the proportions of the wall.
